Quick, strike a pose! To help celebrate Pride month, we’re running a photo drive to the WordPress Photo Directory and offering up some cash prizes as a bonus. The funding for the prizes are proudly powered by Queeromattic, the collection of queers within Automattic.
Who can participate?
Anyone and everyone.
What counts?
Any rainbow themed photo submitted to the WordPress.org photo directory with the #ShareYourPride2024. Remember that there are specific rules to follow for the photo directory, including things like no faces or an over emphasis on branding.
How do I participate?
- Take a lovely rainbow themed photo
- Submit it to the WordPress.org photo directory and include the tag #ShareYourPride2024 in the photo description in the alternative text field.
- Get approved!

What are the prizes?
- $150 = best photo.
- $100 = second best.
- $50 = third best.
- $50 each for the top three most submitted photos.
When is the deadline?
July 3rd, 2024. This is to give time for any end of month Pride events that might be perfect photo opportunities.
