Coming off of Matt’s recent call to slack better, we asked for an #LGBTQ channel to be created and are excited to announce that one is now in place. If you don’t yet have a WordPress.org slack profile you can create one by following these instructions. After doing so, you can click on #LGBTQ to open this new channel or search for it amongst the slack channels available to join.
We’ve updated our website to reflect both the dedicated slack community and this broader WordPress.org social channel that folks are welcomed to join. As of now, both spaces are meant to be for LGBTQ+ folks to gather and socialize. Allies are very much welcomed and we hope to see you there.
